KBK9G20
This ARM926-based stand-alone computer is an excellent choice for general purpose computing, test
stands, access control systems, and inventory management applications.
The small footprint and low power requirements (supports Power-over-Ethernet, PoE) make the KBK9G20 ideally suited for facility applications and remote computing.
The test system is shown running various environments including GNOME-based using IceWM window manager and BusyBox/uClibc for even faster performance.
Applications can be developed natively on the system: completely removing the need for a cross-compiler host environment. There is no need to purchase additional tools for applications software development.
The system supports graphic display in one of three options: remote display over Ethernet, local display on 7" LCD, or local display via VGA port. The USB host ports provide connectivity for keyboard, mouse, barcode scanner, WiFi adapter, and other USB devices.
The LCD includes touch-screen support and the RFID option enables the system to function as an access control point - scanning user RFID badges and further authenticating with touch-screen input. The on-board speaker provides audio response.
Expansion:
SPI header (internal) - not available when using RFID
Power header for use with battery configuration (internal)
Current state: Fully-functional reference design.
